As the guy at Emory who was responsible for the case law collection for a  number of years, I can tell you it was a rather fun and exciting thing.  Currently Emory only maintains the 11th Circuit and the historical collections of the other courts it collected over the years.  Still, the caselaw collection acounts for about 80,000 hits a day on the Emory website.
